Question
I guess I’d better stick to who I am
A United States citizen
A nice blend of ya-you-betcha Norwegian
With a touch of Native American
European, Asian, African
And God knows what else
The point is whether we like it or not
We are all related in one way or another
Go back far enough and we all share
The same ancient great grandmother
We need to treat each other better...
So why is the truth so hard to face
There is only one race- the human race
And to perpetuate anything else really is a disgrace
We need to treat each other better...
With world wide respect and dignity
Can we all stop being ugly
Can we win this race
Can we all come to our senses
Before we destroy ourselves
And everything else on this beautiful Earth
That is The Question
